How We Make Money

Full transparency on our business model and editorial independence.

Kluvex is a reader-supported publication. We earn money primarily through affiliate commissions — when you click a link to a product on our site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

What This Means for You

You never pay more. Our affiliate links do not increase the price you pay. The commission comes from the vendor's marketing budget.

Reviews are not influenced. We review tools before checking if they have affiliate programs. A tool's affiliate commission has zero bearing on its score.

We recommend free tools too. If the best tool for a use case is free, we say so. We regularly recommend free alternatives over paid options.

No sponsored reviews. We do not accept payment in exchange for reviews, higher scores, or editorial coverage. Period.

How Affiliate Links Work

When we link to a product (for example, "Try Cursor Free"), that link includes a tracking parameter that identifies Kluvex as the referrer. If you sign up for a paid plan through that link, the company pays us a percentage of the sale — typically 20-30% of the first payment.

We disclose all affiliate relationships on every article page with a visible banner at the top of the content.

Our Editorial Firewall

Our content team operates independently from our business team. The process is straightforward:

  1. The editorial team selects which tools to review based on reader demand and market relevance.
  2. Reviews are written and scored before anyone checks affiliate availability.
  3. If an affiliate program exists, links are added after the review is finalized.
  4. If no affiliate program exists, we still publish the review with direct links.

FTC Compliance

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements, we clearly disclose our affiliate relationships. The disclosure appears at the top of every article that contains affiliate links.
